Owner manager of Piako Group Darrell Russell worked his way up through the business to purchasing Piako Motors in 1995. From there the business has grown to be an award winning Mitsubishi dealership earning the prestigious Diamond Dealer award many times over. Darrell started the farm machinery side of Piako and grew it into one of New Zealand's top agricultural dealerships.

Piako Tractors Rotorua shareholder and manager has been involved in the sales and dealership management for many years. Starting his career in the building industry in Auckland Ian soon saw the light and moved his family south to take up a share milking position in the Bay of Plenty.
Ian soon found that he had a natural love of tractors and farm machinery and his well known outgoing personality made it easy for him to converse with farmers and contractors alike with his knowledge of farm machinery and his insight into farming, the rest they say is history.
